We are very happy to announce 3 online competitions to encourage the creative potential of our members. Our   Members would get a web platform to showcase their talents.

• Singing competition consisting of Kaviyarasar Kannadasan’s lyrics.
• An Essay Competition on the topic Kaviyarasarin Thathuva paarvai
• Poetry Competition on the  Winners contributions in our Sangam’s website on the topic ‘Kaviyarasarai potruvom’. 

The winners’ contributions  will be uploaded  in the Sangam’s website on the  occasion of Kaviyarasar Kannadasan’s birthday.They would also be sent to all the members through our broadcast WhatsApp group.

 The rules and regulations of the said competition have been given below.

• A life member or his family member can send a  90 seconds video recording of one song penned by Kaviyarasar Kannadasan.
• Video can be recorded with background  music by using a karaoke facility or it can be recorded without background music. This option is open to members . 
• The selection of singers would be done by a panel of professional musicians.
• A member’ s family can send one essay and one poem for the competition.

The last date for sending the video recording is 5-5-2020. 

The videos should be sent by whats app to Sangam’s broadcast group number 9969784863. 

First round selection would be done on the basis of 90 seconds video. 

The selected singers will then be requested to record a full song penned by Kaviysrasar.

7. Declaration regarding the originality of the contribution.

The final round winners’ contributions would be uploaded in the Sangam’s website with their photographs and the same would be sent to members through our  whatsapp broadcast group .

Poem  should not exceed 100 words and Essay should not exceed 150 words and these should be mailed to nmtamilsangam@yahoo.com  before 7-5-2020
