Details of Membership Admission: –
a) ELIGIBILITY
Membership shall be open to all adult citizens residing within the limits of Navi Mumbai, subject to the criteria and conditions under the relevant acts and subject to eligibility of membership and on payment of appropriate subscriptions as determined by way of resolutions passed in the Annual/Extra ordinary General Body Meetings from time to time.
b) APPLICATION
Application for membership shall be made in the prescribed form and submitted to the committee with the admission fee and appropriate subscription according to the category of the membership in one instalment and in advance.
c) SCRUTINY
Committee shall scrutinize the application for membership and it may either accept and admit the applicant provisionally subject to the final approval of the General Body or reject application for membership. Any person aggrieved by rejection may appeal to the General Body and the General Body shall be the final arbiter in such cases.
d) CATEGORY OF MEMBERSHIP
Membership of the Sangam shall be open into three categories namely
- Patron members
- Life members and
- Ordinary members
with their rights and liabilities would be at par perpetually save the amount of subscriptions would vary as per the contributions payable therto
e) ADMISSION FEE
The admission fees for all categories of membership would be Rs. Twelve only
f) SUBSCRIPTION
Membership subscription shall be:
- Ordinary membership WILL BE ANNOUNCED SOON
- Life membership Rs. 5000- only
- Patron membership WILL BE ANNOUNCED SOON
Provided that the general body may revise the amount of subscription by way of resolution from time to time.
